In this episode I talk to Natalie Oldenkamp about working her way up the corporate ladder, the struggles and payoffs of owning her own business, being a mother, redefining herself later in life, being a positive member of her community, and making sure to always have fun doing it. Natalie is currently a real estate agent in Polk County Florida with Berkshire Hathaway.

I think Natalie is a shining example of how it’s never too late to change directions in life. So often we look at change and think it’s impossible or we could never do it, but it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you’re not enjoying what you’re doing, there are always options. Some may take a lot of hard work, but anything worth doing does.

Carpe Diem; seize the day. It’s a common phrase we hear all the time, but how many of us truly live it? Natalie is someone who does, and she makes sure to take every opportunity to have fun and enjoy her life with the people around her.

Lastly, if you’re ever in New Orleans, check out Bourbon Street once, but make sure you get up to Frenchmen Street.
